    Update: Fostering Senior Cats (5)

    April 12

The boys had a moment where they did NOT want to give them up, but they understand a little more about this being a foster placement and in fact, Darcy being in the basement all day isn’t really the best place for her to be.

Charlotte rose is a kick, though. She plays fetch with a toy mouse. I woke up the other morning with her on my chest, having dropped it on me, waiting to have me throw it.

Thank god it wasn’t a REAL mouse.

    Update: Fostering Senior Cats (4)

    April 3

I finally found Darcy during the day and got her to the vet. She’s sneaky, that one.

I have meds for the eye. Can’t get them into her more than once a day but… I have the meds. It’s a start.

Meanwhile, Charlotte Rose and I are pretty inseparable. She’s like a dog, trotting along side me all day long, up and down to the laundry, back and forth through the house.

She’s always at my side. Except when Jake- my 8 year old- practices the snare drum in my office.

    Then she’s outta here.
